CamRadar Terms of Use
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of CamRadar, including the CamRadar Android application and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using CamRadar, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the application.
2. Purpose of CamRadar
CamRadar provides tools for discovering, inspecting, and analyzing devices and network information visible to a supported Android device.
CamRadar is an investigative and informational tool. It does not guarantee identification of every camera, recording device, wireless device, or network-connected device.
3. No guaranteed camera detection
CamRadar cannot guarantee that every hidden camera, surveillance device, or recording device will be detected.
Detection capabilities depend on factors including Android hardware, operating-system restrictions, permissions, network topology, router configuration, radio technology, device visibility, signal conditions, and the behavior of the device being investigated.
4. Authorized and lawful use
You agree to use CamRadar only for lawful purposes and in environments where you are authorized to perform the relevant network or device-discovery activity.
You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, contracts, policies, network rules, and property rights.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use CamRadar to:
- Gain unauthorized access to another device or network.
- Bypass passwords, authentication, encryption, or security controls.
- Intercept communications without authorization.
- Disrupt or damage networks or devices.
- Use discovered information for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, or fraud.
- Violate privacy, computer-security, or communications laws.
6. Device information and scan results
Device type, manufacturer, name, risk classification, or other information displayed by CamRadar may be based on incomplete technical signals and should be treated as an investigative indication rather than definitive proof.
A detected network or wireless device is not automatically a camera, surveillance device, or security threat.
7. Signal strength and distance
Signal-strength information cannot reliably determine exact physical distance.
Walls, reflections, antennas, transmission power, interference, device orientation, environmental conditions, and other variables can materially affect measurements.
8. Google Play and paid functionality
CamRadar may provide free functionality together with optional paid features, one-time purchases, subscriptions, or other premium functionality.
Purchases distributed through Google Play are also subject to applicable Google Play terms, payment rules, and refund policies.
9. Feature availability
Some features may not be available on every Android version, phone, tablet, chipset, wireless interface, or network.
CamRadar may change, add, restrict, or remove functionality as necessary because of Android platform changes, security requirements, technical limitations, or product development.
10. Updates
CamRadar may receive updates containing new features, performance improvements, bug fixes, security changes, compatibility updates, or changes to paid functionality.
Continued use of the application after an update may require installing a supported version.
11. Intellectual property
CamRadar, its software, interface, branding, graphics, documentation, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CamRadar in accordance with these Terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
CamRadar is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
No warranty is made that CamRadar will identify every device, produce error-free results, operate continuously, or be compatible with every device, network, router, or Android version.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer and operators of CamRadar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use CamRadar.
You remain responsible for decisions or actions taken based on scan results or technical information displayed by the application.
14. Termination
Your permission to use CamRadar may be terminated if you materially violate these Terms or use the application for unlawful or abusive activity.
15. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as CamRadar develops. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate.
