3. Information we do not require

Pocket Recorder Free does not require an account or sign-in. We do not directly request or collect:

• your name or postal address;
• contacts, call history, or SMS messages;
• precise GPS location;
• health or financial information;
• passwords;
• the contents of your audio recordings.

The app is not a cloud-storage service, social network, or phone-call recording service.

4. Advertising

Pocket Recorder Free is supported by advertising. The app uses Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads technology provided by Unity Technologies and may use advertising networks enabled through Unity LevelPlay mediation.

Advertising providers may automatically collect, receive, or process:

• the Android Advertising ID and other device identifiers;
• IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
• device manufacturer, model, operating-system version, language, and region;
• app version, network information, sessions, and app interactions;
• ad impressions, clicks, conversions, and frequency information;
• diagnostic, crash, performance, consent, fraud-prevention, and security information.

This information may be used to request, select, deliver, personalize where permitted, limit, and measure advertisements; perform attribution and analytics; detect fraud and invalid traffic; protect security; and comply with law.

Advertising providers may combine information collected through the app with information from other apps, websites, devices, or services, subject to applicable law and their privacy policies.

5. Personalized advertising and consent

Where required by law, the app or its advertising providers will request consent before using information for personalized advertising. If you do not consent, the app may continue to display contextual, non-personalized, or limited advertisements where legally permitted.

You may be able to review or change advertising privacy choices:

• through privacy controls displayed in an advertisement;
• through privacy or consent settings available in the app;
• through Android advertising privacy settings;
• by resetting or deleting your Android Advertising ID;
• through applicable Google account advertising settings.

Refusing personalized advertising does not disable all advertisements.

6. Android permissions

Microphone

The microphone permission is required to create recordings and is used only for user-initiated recording functionality.

Notifications

Notification permission may be used to display recording status and controls while a recording is active.

Foreground service

A microphone foreground service may maintain an active recording when the app is not visible. A persistent notification is displayed while it runs.

Internet and network state

Network access is used to load ads, obtain consent information, communicate with advertising providers, and support related security and diagnostics.

Advertising ID

Advertising providers may use the Android Advertising ID for advertising, measurement, attribution, frequency control, fraud prevention, and related purposes, subject to your settings and applicable law.

The app does not require contacts, call logs, SMS, precise GPS location, or broad all-files access for its core recording functionality.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell or distribute the contents of your audio recordings.

Advertising-related information described above may be shared with or processed by:

• Unity Technologies;
• advertising networks configured through Unity LevelPlay;
• advertising exchanges and demand partners;
• analytics, attribution, fraud-prevention, security, and compliance providers;
• government authorities or other parties when legally required.

Some laws treat certain advertising disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged for personal information. Where applicable, you may exercise opt-out rights through the app, advertising privacy controls, device settings, or by contacting us.

8. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location, information may be processed based on:

• your consent;
• performance of a service you requested;
• legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the app;
• fraud prevention and protection against abuse;
• compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before consent was withdrawn.

9. Data retention

Audio recordings remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, clear app data, or remove them through another device-storage mechanism. We do not operate a server that stores your recordings or a Pocket Recorder Free account.

Advertising and technology providers determine their own retention periods based on the type of information, advertising purpose, legal requirements, security requirements, and user choices.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the app. Recordings are stored using Android and device storage mechanisms. Their protection also depends on your device security, screen lock, backups, storage providers, and applications to which you export recordings.

No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. International data transfers

Advertising providers and their service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, the relevant providers are responsible for lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards for information they process.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• access, correct, or delete certain personal information;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent;
• opt out of personalized or targeted advertising;
• opt out of certain sales or sharing;
• request information about categories of data collected or disclosed;
• complain to a data-protection authority;
• exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination.

Because the app has no user accounts and we do not maintain an account database, we may be unable to identify information independently processed by an advertising provider using only your name or email address. Requests concerning information controlled by Unity or another advertising provider may need to be submitted directly to that provider.

13. California privacy notice

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including rights to know, correct, or delete certain information and to opt out of certain sales or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Pocket Recorder Free does not sell audio recordings.

Advertising-related disclosures may be considered “sharing” under California law. Available opt-out controls may be provided through the app, advertisements, Android advertising settings, or the applicable advertising provider.

14. Children’s privacy

Pocket Recorder Free is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact moloko812@gmail.com.

16. Third-party services and links

Advertisements or system sharing features may direct you to third-party apps, websites, or services. We do not control their privacy, security, content, or processing practices. Review their privacy policies before using them or providing information.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will show a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its Google Play listing where appropriate.
