This Privacy Policy explains how Contractor Job CRM handles information when you use the mobile application.

1. Overview

Contractor Job CRM is a local-first contractor CRM application designed to help users manage jobs, customers, calendar events, expenses, notes, and related business records.

The app is designed to store your business data locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud CRM server for this app, and we do not sell your data.

2. Information You Enter Into the App

You may choose to enter or store information in the app, including:

  • customer names;
  • customer phone numbers;
  • customer email addresses;
  • job addresses;
  • job notes;
  • appointment details;
  • service details;
  • expense records;
  • invoice or payment notes;
  • photos or attachments, if supported by your installed app version;
  • other business records that you manually add.

This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or transfer it using features available on your device or in the app.

3. Google Calendar Access

Contractor Job CRM may request access to your device calendar so that you can import or view calendar events inside the app.

The app may access calendar information such as:

  • event title;
  • event date and time;
  • event location;
  • event notes or description;
  • calendar event identifiers needed to display or manage imported events.

Calendar access is used only to provide app functionality, such as importing or displaying scheduled jobs and appointments.

We do not upload your calendar data to our own servers.

Your calendar data may also be processed by your calendar provider, such as Google Calendar, depending on how your device and calendar account are configured. That processing is controlled by your calendar provider, not by Contractor Job CRM.

4. App Permissions

Contractor Job CRM may request the following permissions, depending on the app version and enabled features:

Calendar Permission

Used to read calendar events selected or available to the app so they can be shown or imported into Contractor Job CRM.

Storage, Photos, or File Access

If available in your app version, these permissions may be used only when you choose to attach, import, export, or back up files.

The app does not request permissions for purposes unrelated to contractor CRM functionality.

5. Data Collection

Contractor Job CRM is designed as a local-first app.

We do not collect your customer records, job records, calendar events, expenses, notes, attachments, or other CRM data on our own servers.

We do not use your CRM data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your locally stored CRM data with third parties unless you choose to export, share, back up, or transfer that data yourself using device features, third-party apps, or app-supported export features.

Examples of user-controlled sharing may include:

  • exporting a backup file;
  • sending a report by email;
  • sharing a file through another app;
  • saving a backup to cloud storage;
  • transferring data to another device.

When you choose to share or export data, that data may be handled by the third-party service or application you select.

7. Google Play Billing

Contractor Job CRM may offer paid subscriptions, Pro features, or optional product packs through Google Play Billing.

Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full credit card number or payment card details.

Google may provide purchase status, order information, subscription status, or transaction information necessary to activate paid features, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and manage purchases.

Google’s handling of payment information is governed by Google’s own policies.

8. Analytics and Advertising

Contractor Job CRM does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Contractor Job CRM does not use third-party analytics SDKs unless this Privacy Policy is updated to disclose such use.

If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud sync, or remote backup features are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or at the time those features are released.

9. Data Storage and Security

Your app data is stored locally on your Android device using the app’s local storage and database.

We use reasonable technical design practices to limit access to app data. However, no mobile device, software system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, including using device lock, secure backups, and safe handling of exported files.

10. Data Retention

Data entered into Contractor Job CRM remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app data, uninstall the app, or remove records inside the app if deletion features are available.

Exported or backed-up files remain wherever you save or share them. You are responsible for deleting exported files from those locations.

11. Data Deletion

Contractor Job CRM does not create a cloud account with us.

Because the app stores data locally, you can delete app data by:

  • deleting records inside the app, if the feature is available;
  • clearing the app’s storage from Android system settings;
  • uninstalling the app from your device;
  • deleting any exported backup files or shared files from the locations where you saved them.

On most Android devices, you can clear local app data by going to:

Settings → Apps → Contractor Job CRM → Storage → Clear Data

Exact steps may vary by Android version and device manufacturer.

If you contact us for support, we can explain how to delete local data, but we cannot remotely delete data stored only on your device.

12. Children’s Privacy

Contractor Job CRM is intended for business and contractor productivity use. It is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. User Responsibility for Customer Data

Contractor Job CRM allows users to store customer and job information. You are responsible for making sure that any customer information you enter into the app is collected, stored, and used lawfully.

You are also responsible for protecting exported files, backups, reports, screenshots, or other records that may contain customer information.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update the policy, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Contractor Job CRM after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
