Contractor Job CRM is designed as a local contractor CRM app. The app stores job, customer, expense, report, and imported calendar information locally on the user’s device.

This page explains why the app requests calendar permission and how that permission is used.

Calendar Permission

Contractor Job CRM may request the following Android permission:

READ_CALENDAR

This permission allows the app to read calendar events from the user’s device after the user grants access.

Why Contractor Job CRM Needs Calendar Access

Contractor Job CRM uses calendar access to help users import existing work appointments, service calls, and scheduled jobs from their device calendar into the app.

This helps users avoid entering the same job information manually.

What Calendar Information May Be Imported

When the user grants calendar access, the app may read and import calendar event information such as:

  • event title;
  • event date and time;
  • event notes or description;
  • event location, if available;
  • basic scheduling details needed to create or update a local job record.

The app uses this information only for job scheduling and local CRM organization inside Contractor Job CRM.

What Contractor Job CRM Does Not Do

Contractor Job CRM does not use calendar access to send calendar data to a remote server.

Contractor Job CRM does not sell calendar data.

Contractor Job CRM does not share calendar data with advertisers.

Contractor Job CRM does not use calendar data for advertising or tracking.

Contractor Job CRM does not request permission to edit, delete, or create calendar events unless this is clearly added in a future version and disclosed separately.

Local Storage

Imported calendar information is stored locally on the user’s device as part of the app’s local CRM database.

The app does not require a cloud account to use imported calendar data.

If the user deletes app data, removes imported jobs, or uninstalls the app, locally stored app data may be removed from the device according to Android system behavior.

User Control

Calendar access is optional.

The user can deny calendar permission and still use the app manually.

The user can revoke calendar permission at any time in Android system settings.

If calendar permission is denied or revoked, Contractor Job CRM will not be able to import calendar events, but existing local CRM features may continue to work.

Data Sharing

Contractor Job CRM does not share calendar data with third parties.

If this changes in a future version, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated before or at the time the change becomes effective.
