Fitness Plan – Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Fitness Plan Android application (“Fitness Plan”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Fitness Plan is designed to help users plan workouts, record training activity, review workout history, and track supported fitness or body metrics.

2. Information Fitness Plan may process

Workout information

The App may process information that you enter or generate while using Fitness Plan, such as workout plans, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, rest periods, schedules, completion status, and training history.

Body and fitness information

If supported by the version of the App you use, Fitness Plan may process body or fitness metrics that you provide directly or authorize the App to access through Android health services.

Technical information

Depending on the production configuration, the App or service providers integrated into the App may process limited technical information required for reliability, security, crash diagnostics, or basic application operation.

Before publishing: update this section so it exactly matches the production build, including analytics, crash reporting, authentication, subscriptions, backend services, and third-party SDKs.

3. Health and fitness data

Health and fitness information is treated as sensitive data. Fitness Plan only requests access to health-related information that is necessary to provide user-facing features that you choose to use.

If Fitness Plan integrates with Health Connect or another Android health data provider, access is subject to permissions that you control on your device. You may revoke those permissions through Android settings or the applicable health data service.

Fitness Plan does not use health and fitness information for advertising, profiling for advertising purposes, or sale to data brokers.

Health data permissions should be limited to the minimum data types needed for implemented features. This policy must remain consistent with the permissions declared in the released application.

4. How information is used

Information processed by Fitness Plan may be used to:

provide workout planning and tracking features;
save and display workout history and progress;
calculate or display training-related summaries;
show body or fitness trends when those features are enabled;
maintain application reliability and security;
diagnose crashes or technical problems, if diagnostic tools are enabled;
comply with legal obligations where applicable.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information or health and fitness information.

Information may be disclosed only when necessary to operate the App, comply with applicable law, protect users or the service, or work with service providers that process information on our behalf.

Any third-party service provider included in the production version of the App should be listed in this policy when its processing is relevant to users.

6. Storage and retention

Fitness Plan may store information locally on your device and, if cloud functionality is enabled, may also transmit or store information using remote infrastructure required to provide those features.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to technical, legal, and backup requirements.

If the production version is completely local-only, replace the paragraph above with a direct local-storage statement. If account sync or backup is enabled, document it explicitly.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Your choices and controls

Depending on the features you use, you may be able to:

edit or delete workout and body data inside the App;
revoke Android or Health Connect permissions;
remove locally stored application data through Android settings;
request deletion of server-side data if account-based services are enabled.

If Fitness Plan introduces user accounts, this policy and the public account-deletion process must be updated before release of that functionality.

9. Children’s privacy

Fitness Plan is not intended to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If the App is offered to users under the age required for independent consent in a relevant jurisdiction, additional parental consent and compliance measures may be required.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
